The tumultuous political environment in Malabar, where Pannyannoor Mukundhan was frequently threatened with violence and even assassination, gave rise to this fierce left-wing leader. The part of his gunman has been given to Ayyapa Das, a recent addition to the police force. Civil police officer Das’s father passed away while carrying out his duties. He had an impact on Das.
